| Another selection of photos: Right, the completed boiler prior to hydraulic test. No holes drilled for the cylinder yet so the test was completed to 2 times working pressure at 240 psi. A couple of very minor weeps at the top pressure that were cured with a little soft solder caulk. | ![]() |

Smokebox and door. The rectangular gap at the bottom is the space for the front towbar assembly that bolts to the boiler shell. The boiler shell extends to the front of the smokebox so the outer smokebox seen here is like a double skin. | |

| The cylinder block with its external surfaces machined. Internal valve chests and throttle chest still to be done as are the bores in the first view, and in the second view the block is virtually fully machined having its boiler fixing holes drilled. |
