Pictures from the East Midlands 2000 model engineering show in the UK

A case Traction engine. Unusual due to its side moumnted cylinder block An exquisite Deltic. The picture does not do it justice. The detail was superb and the "dirtying up" of the weathering brilliant.
Two views of a Frenze tractor Quite an unusual prtorype
An oscillating wall engine. The cylinder block at the bottom oscilates with the overhead crank movement. A "wall" engine since it is designed to fix to a wall! A selection of miniature machine tools made by Barry Jorden. They defy description both in detail and the short manufacturing time using a Myford Super 7B, drill and a universal mill built as a model but capable of machining very small parts.
Either side ... a Rolls Royce aero engine ......enough said!
A Renault aero engine ...... a Cirrus

Here are some pictures from the 1999 Midlands model engineering exhibition in the UK

The model engineers craft is well and truly exampled by this selection of wheel wright models of farm machinery

To the right a working mill........ ..........and a working drill
..9 Cylinders......all working... A first for me to see a model of a hearse and pram......the begining and the end?
Horseless ... yes..... not sure about the practicality of those curtains! I cannot do this Suzuki justice by the picture..........just remarkable.......
Some staionary steam action.... Although ships are not my forte, this super weight lifter was a remakably detailed model........if only it had been in water....
Diorama or model...a forge no less..... ......and a dairy kitchen.........
An unusal presentation...but very realistic...... Strange cab.........
.......and a workshop....... Another 'all sort' of steam tracton
